Dearest partners in Christ,
Welcome to March 2023. As we emerge from the dark winter months, we see daylight getting longer, the flowers and plants begin to blossom once again and animals emerge from hibernation.
We thank God that indeed He is a good father who can be relied upon to be ever faithful towards us- hallelujah!
The bible tells us While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. Genesis 8:22 KJV. Why will it not cease?
It will not cease because of the faithfulness of our God who gives only good gifts. To Him alone be all the glory.
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. James 1:17 KJV.
Oh what a faithful God He is friends! God is steadfast. He never changes, His Word can be relied upon because He is the very definition of steadfastness and faithfulness.
Jesus the son of God our master is called faithful! And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, Revelation 19:11, KJV.
If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. 2 Timothy 2:13, KJV. God is committed to being faithful to you as you continue to abide in Him.
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. John 15:7, KJV.
Do take some time to think and meditate on these scriptures this month. As Apostle Darlene will say, “prayers never die”. Your prayers are before God in the throne room.
And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. Revelation 5:8, KJV so stay faithful in prayers and believe God – He answers prayers!
Remain faithful in prayer, thanksgiving, in giving, in evangelising and every good work God has committed to you. Remain faithful in the father’s business of soul winning and discipling, in your family, your local community, wherever you find yourself.
Remain faithful praying for the souls of your unsaved loved ones, friends, colleagues and the unsaved in the nations. And just as the seasons surely will change, in due course, your prayers will be answered and you will receive your reward.
“Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. Revelation 22:12.
Finally, our charge is this – Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord, Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Romans 12:11-12, NIV.
