Philippines has a population of about 11 million of which 10% are non-Christians. The sex trade industry in the Philippines is its fourth largest source of income and involves up to 100,000 children and 400,000 women, many of whom are trafficked to other countries. Over the years, there has been a rise in the evangelical church and more collaborations across denominations to advance the gospel but there is much to be done. While the church and its leaders have some influence on politics and daily life, there is a smaller, but strong, percent who are Muslims and seek to fuse Philippine provinces as a separate Islamic state so there is still much to do for the church.
The DEM Prayer Ministry aims to raise a covering over the nation of Philippines crying out for the salvation of souls, for the gospel to be heard in every part of the nation. We intercede for unity in the church, for the church to grow stronger and stand firm on biblical truth. We intercede for spiritual leaders, families, the government and more.
The DEM No Limits Prayer Line in the Philippines meets for prayers every Saturday 6am Philippines Time.
