Dear Friend,
Welcome to the month of June. We thank and give God all the praise for His unfailing love and mercies towards us. We are always surprised at how fast the years, months, weeks and days are going! This is a constant reminder that we need to live everyday fulfilling our divine purpose and destiny in Jesus Christ.
This month of June we will be remembering and celebrating the feast of Pentecost, the birthday of the church. We have a good father who hasn’t left us here on earth as orphans, hence He gave us the promise of the Holy Spirit, to dwell within us forever!
“And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever— The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans [comfortless, desolate, bereaved, forlorn, helpless]; I will come [back] to you.” John 14:16-18.
Beloved spend some time this month in fasting and prayer, asking God for a fresh outpouring, infilling and baptism of the Holy Spirit upon you, your family, the Body of Christ (The Church), and the Nations.
Together let’s pray and believe God to visit the earth with a third spiritual awakening. Let’s pray for the full fulfilment of what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
“And afterward I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. Even upon the menservants and upon the maidservants in those days will I pour out My Spirit. And I will show signs and wonders in the heavens, and on the earth, blood and fire and columns of smoke. The sun shall be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes. And whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered and saved, for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those who escape, as the Lord has said, and among the remnant [of survivors] shall be those whom the Lord calls.” Joel 2:28-32.
Throughout this month move beyond just being a blessed son of God, into living and demonstrating the power of the Holy Spirit. When you receive the Holy Spirit, you receive power to live a holy, consecrated life and to be a powerful witness of Jesus Christ.
“But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth”. Acts 1:8.
Let’s go forth in the power of the Holy Spirit to be effective witnesses of Jesus Christ, preaching and demonstrating the total healing, saving and deliverance message of the Kingdom of God.
Seek, Save, and Disciple the Nations until Jesus Christ returns!
