DEM Ministry Partner Letter – October 2026

DEM Ministry Partner Letter – October 2026

Dear Partner in Prayer,

Welcome to October 2026!

As we enter this new month, I encourage you to take five minutes daily to pause and give God praise for His goodness, faithfulness, mercy, and power that have sustained you throughout this year.

The Lord has been faithful

Take a moment to remember where God brought you from, the battles He fought for you, the doors He opened, the prayers He answered, and even the things He is still yet to manifest. “Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” — Psalm 107:1

DEM is deeply grateful for you and for your partnership with us in prayer. Your prayers are valuable as we continue to pursue God’s purposes for the Church and the nations.

A Call to Gather in Prayer

Beloved, every October, we gather ourselves together in the presence of the Lord through our in-person Prayer Summits across the nations.

These gatherings are opportunities for refreshing, training, equipping, and receiving God’s vision for our prayer assignment for the coming year.

The Word of God declares:

“But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles…”— Isaiah 40:31

As we gather, we believe the Lord will renew our strength, and give us greater clarity concerning what He is asking us to contend for in prayer in this new year.

Will Jesus Find Faith in Us?

Jesus used the parable of the persistent widow in Luke 18:1–8 to teach His disciples that they “always ought to pray and not lose heart.”

The widow persisted until justice was done. At the conclusion of the parable, Jesus asked an important question:

“…Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” — Luke 18:8

Prayer is an expression of our faith because, when we pray, we acknowledge our complete dependence upon God.

Jesus is still calling His people to persistent faith and prayer.

When He comes, may He find us praying. May He find us believing. May He find us standing in the gap and faithfully carrying the prayer assignments He has entrusted to us.

We Are Called to Be a House of Prayer

Jesus declared:

“…My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations…”— Mark 11:17; Isaiah 56:7

The Church is called to be a house of prayer for all nations.

God is looking for yielded and available vessels through whom the Holy Spirit can intercede for the Body of Christ and the nations, so that His kingdom and will may be established in the earth.

Jesus taught us to pray:

“Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” — Matthew 6:10

Prayer is therefore not just asking God to meet our personal needs. It is yielding ourselves to God’s purposes and agreeing with His will, for others also.

The Call Is for Every Believer

The ministry of prayer and intercession is not reserved for a select few.

“I Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence — 1 Timothy 2:1–2

God is calling every believer to become a faithful steward of this prayer assignment.

He is asking for our yes.

He is asking for our availability.

He is asking for our obedience and perseverance.

The Scripture says:

“So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me …..”— Ezekiel 22:30

May we be found standing in the gap.

Agreeing With Our Great High Priest

Jesus, our Great High Priest, “…always lives to make intercession…” for us (Hebrews 7:25).

What a privilege it is that we can agree with Jesus in prayer!

The Holy Spirit also helps us in our weakness and intercedes for us according to the will of God (Romans 8:26–27).

Therefore, may our prayer lives become increasingly aligned with the heart of God. May we learn to pray not just from our circumstances, but according to God’s Word, His heart, and His will.

Keep the Fire Burning

This month, let us make a fresh commitment to ensure that the fire and altar of prayer in our lives, homes, families, churches, communities, and nations continue to burn.

“A fire shall always be burning on the altar; it shall never go out.” — Leviticus 6:13

Do not allow busyness, disappointment, unanswered questions, or spiritual fatigue to extinguish your prayer life.

Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep standing. Keep interceding.

“pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17) and “Continue earnestly in prayer…” (Colossians 4:2).

Our Prayer Focus This Month

As we pray throughout October, let us ask God for clarity concerning our prayer assignments for every sphere of influence in the nations.

Ask the Lord, “What are You asking me to pray for?” Then listen, obey, and persevere in prayer.

Intentionally pray for God’s kingdom, will, and purposes to be established in the earth.

Prayer Always

May intercession become the foundation of our mission to preach the Gospel and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19).

Before we gather—pray.

Before we make decisions—pray.

Before we make plans—pray.

Before we respond to challenges—pray.

Before we step into new territories—pray.

Prayer keeps us dependent upon Him.

May we never become so busy doing things for God that we neglect seeking God Himself.

Jesus said:

“….Without Me you can do nothing.” — John 15:5

DECLARATION

I am God’s house of prayer and intervention for all nations. I yield myself to the Holy Spirit and make myself available for God’s purposes in the earth. Through my prayers, I agree with Jesus’ Will concerning the Church and the nations. God’s kingdom will advance, His will shall be done, and His glory shall be revealed in the earth. I will not grow weary in prayer. I will stand in the gap, persevere in intercession, and keep my altar burning, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

YOU ARE INVITED

Dear Partner, we invite you to join us for our in-person Prayer Summits happening across the nations throughout October 2026.

Have a blessed and fruitful October!

Yours in Christ,
Apostle Darlene
