April’s Ministry Letter from Apostle Darlene

Dear friend,

I welcome you to April, and together we declare that Jesus Christ is Lord and King over the earth, everyone and everything within it.

As we continue on our journey to Seek, Save and Disciple souls for Jesus, our focus this month is to identify and bind the strong man and release the harvest of souls.

Jesus said in Matthew 12:29, “Or how can one enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house.”

Often some may pray, asking the Lord for souls; however, Jesus said that the harvest is indeed plentiful and already white for harvest! Matthew 9:37; John 4:35. This tells us immediately that the issue is not so much to ask for souls because the harvest is ready, but instead, we are to bind the strongman who is holding and keeping the souls captive so they can be released.

Friend, it’s time to bind the strongman, pull down the strongholds of unbelief, bind the satanic influences and spiritual blindness over the mind and souls of the harvest so that people can respond to salvation.

Throughout this month, let’s stand on the following scriptures in our prayers to bind the strong man, pull down his strongholds and

But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake. For it is the God who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” 2 Corinthians 4:3-6

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.” 2 Corinthians 10:3-6

Have a blessed and victorious month.

Yours in Christ,

Our Vision

Matthew 24:14, ‘This good news of the kingdom [the gospel] will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end [of the age] will come’.

Isaiah 61:1-4 “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me. To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to [a]heal the broken-hearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, To [b]console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.” And they shall rebuild the old ruins, They shall raise up the former desolations, And they shall repair the ruined cities, The desolations of many generations.
