Dear Friend,
Welcome to the month of August 2024. Let’s thank God for His gift of faith in Jesus Christ to us, which causes us to live a supernatural, extraordinary, eternal and abundant life!
“He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” 1 John 5:12.
Hallelujah! To King Jesus, who forever rules and reigns the entire universe. Indeed the kingdom of God is an everlasting kingdom and there is no match or end to the dominion and power of Jesus Christ.
Psalm 146:1-2 says:“Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul. While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.”
Beloved if you’re alive in Christ today, then make some time each day this new month to sing praises and thank the Lord.
1 John 5:19 says “We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.”
The whole world lies in wickedness, but God’s children have the light of the gospel and must arise and shine it, by spreading the good news.
This month as we continue our journey to seek, save and disciple the nations, we will cause the light of Christ to shine brighter and brighter across the nations. This will drive out the increasing darkness, evil and wickedness in the lives of multitudes
Scriptures to Meditate upon this Month
Meditate upon and pray that the following scriptures will manifest in your life, this month and beyond;
“And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:1-10.
“And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.” John 1:5.
“Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.” Isaiah 60:1-3.
“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Mathew 5:14-16.
“Now it shall come to pass in the latter days That the mountain of the Lord’s house Shall be established on the top of the mountains, And shall be exalted above the hills; And peoples shall flow to it. Many nations shall come and say,
“Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion the law shall go forth, And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.” Micah 4:1-2.
YOUR DECLARATIONS
Beloved, declare:
- I will arise and dwell in my rightful position, seated together in heavenly places in Christ!
- I am God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that I should walk in them. Therefore I will walk in the good works of preaching and demonstrating God’s kingdom.
- I will not hide my light, but I will continue to shine the light of Christ and the gospel of His kingdom in my home, community, town, village and nation.
- The light of Christ through me will defeat the influences of the prince of the power of the air (satan), and multitudes will be translated from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of Christ!
