Beloved friend in Christ,
I greet you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We welcome September 2024, with great hope that God who calls us His sons, is faithful to fulfill all His promises concerning us, in Christ’s name.
As we continue our journey this month to seek, save, and disciple the nations, be reminded that you are a valuable member of Christ’s body. At times, because of our various limitations, disappointments, rejection, and weaknesses, we may exclude ourselves from being used to witness and manifest Christ in all of His power and Glory to the nations.
According to 1 Cor. 1:18-31, God specialises in choosing:
* the foolish things of the world to confound and put to shame the wise!
* The weak things of the world to confound and put to shame the mighty things!
* The base things of the world, things which are despised and things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are!
That no flesh should glory in His presence!
Friend, despite your current limitations, if you decide to trust and obey Jesus’ command to go and make disciples of all nations, the Holy Spirit will work with and through you to manifest the miracle power of salvation to the nations!
This month consider the following people who had several limitations in their life, yet still God used them to touch others for His glory:
* Naaman’s maid and servants (2 Kings 5:1-4, 10-14).
* Esther the orphan (Esther 2:2-4,7,9,15,17).
* Ruth the Moabite widow (Ruth 1-4).
Remember the words of Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:8-10:
“Then last of all He was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time.
For I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.”
May you increase and be strong in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, as you allow His indwelling Spirit to work mightily in and through you to the nations.
