November 2023 DEM Ministry Letter

November 2023 DEM Ministry Letter

Dear Friend,

Welcome to November 2023. Thanks be to God for His goodness and mercies towards us this past ten months.

“Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” Matthew 24:9-14

Friend, we are living in the last days as we see the increase and intensity of the signs of the last days spoken of by Jesus in Matthew 24:3-51, and Luke 21:7-38. There is a need to have a greater awareness that Jesus is coming again soon!

It is vital that we understand and know what to do in these last days.

Beloved we must intensify and be consistent in prayers for the persecuted church, and the nations during these last days. Just like Jesus prayed for Peter, our prayers will strengthen believers and help them to endure and overcome all persecutions, trials and temptations.

“And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.” Luke 22:31.

We must give our whole heart, focus our attention and interest on fulfilling our ministry of reconciliation. “And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.”  Colossians 4:17.

It’s also time for us to intensify our efforts, and mission to seek, save and disciple the nations. “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come”. Matthew 24:14.

Finally beloved let us not be distracted and preoccupied by the last days events and what is happening in and around us, but keep our focus on following Jesus.

Jesus has commissioned believers to go and make disciples, share the gospel and walk in dominion, demonstrating the power of God daily, (Mark 16:15-20). Jesus has given us diversity of gifts, different abilities, and graces to carry out this purpose (Romans 12:3-8; 1 Peter 4:7-11).

“But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.” Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 4:7-11.

May grace, strength and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God and our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

A very blessed month to you and your family,
