Dear Friend,
Welcome to the month of June. Take a few moments in silence to reflect on the goodness and mercies of God toward you, and offer Him intentional praise and thanksgiving.
Do not allow the distractions and cares of this life to cause you to grow weary. We are living in days where information and knowledge have greatly increased, just as the Bible says:
“But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased” (Daniel 12:4).
Today, countless opinions and voices are coming from every direction. The enemy has taken advantage of the rapid increase in knowledge and media platforms to spread fear, deception, lust of the flesh, and excessive desires for material things.
The Bible reminds us that perilous times will come in the last days (2 Timothy 3:1-9); therefore, we must remain steadfast in truth, faith, and godliness.
Jesus also warned us:
“And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life…” (Luke 21:34).
Therefore, stay alert. Continue watching and praying. We must overcome the evil, unbelief, trials, and persecutions of these last days while remaining focused and faithful in worshipping God and carrying out the work of the ministry.
Beloved, this is the time to seek the counsel of God through His Word more than ever before. His Word brings peace, delivers us from deception, and causes us to prosper in His will and purpose.
“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night… for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success” (Joshua 1:8).
The Bible also says:
“…but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits” (Daniel 11:32).
Friend, spend time meditating on and obeying the Word of God so that you may grow stronger each day and overcome the challenges of these last days.
Make time daily to commune with God and with His people. The early church met daily in fellowship, prayer, and the breaking of bread (Acts 2:46). We are also encouraged not to forsake assembling together, especially as we see the Day approaching (Hebrews 10:25). This is a season for increased fellowship so that we may encourage and strengthen one another in the faith (1 Corinthians 12:12-26; Ephesians 4:11-16).
Let us remain focused:
“…Let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus…” (Hebrews 12:1–2).
Jude exhorts us:
“…earnestly contend for the faith…” and
“…building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost” (Jude 3, 20).
Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Continue to seek, save, and disciple the nations, and may you receive new strength and unlimited grace to continue faithfully.
Remain steadfast and abide in the love of Christ.
